The Mimaki USA mobile app includes the following key functions for quick access to product information and support:
• Search is a ‘help me choose’ feature that guides the user in exploring all the printing and cutting products available from Mimaki. By answering a few basic questions on device type, application, ink type and media handling, users can view a suggested list of Mimaki products that fit the selected criteria.
• The Printers and Plotters buttons let users browse through the company’s products, with more information available on any product with a simple touch of the screen.
• The Ink button provides detailed information on all Mimaki original inks, including characteristics, suitability for an application, part numbers and printer compatibility.
• The Dropper button collects color information using the mobile device’s camera and immediately displays the CMYK values.
• A Contact button enables users to send an email to request more information, or to connect directly to the company’s web site.
