A survey conducted last week by APDSP revealed that 65 percent of respondents’ businesses are open and offering basically the same services as always, and the remainder are also open but offering limited services or hours. No respondent said their shop is closed.
The survey also revealed that about 18 percent of respondents have not seen drops in business, while the rest have seen drops from less than 25 percent to more than 75 percent. The largest group, 45 percent, have seen their business drop from 26 to 50 percent.
Just less than half of respondents have laid off some staff during the crisis.
On Friday full results of the survey, including verbatim responses to open-ended questions, will be published. The link to the full results will be in Friday’s edition of APDSP Today.
